Hi, I’m Glenn. I work with adults and teens across Colorado who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or worn down by anxiety, ADHD, stress, or burnout, often despite being capable, thoughtful, and high-functioning.

Many of the people I work with are navigating long stretches of responsibility, expectation, or internal pressure. They’re often capable and outwardly functional, but their nervous system has been carrying more than it can sustainably hold. Therapy becomes a place where they don’t have to do that anymore... where things can slow down enough to understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface.

My approach is calm, collaborative, and centered on you. There’s no expectation to have the right words, no pressure to open up before you’re ready, and no one-size-fits-all approach. We look at how stress patterns developed over time, not just what’s happening right now. And we move at a pace that respects your capacity and values, focusing on steady, sustainable progress rather than quick fixes.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. More importantly, I focus on helping clients understand their patterns, regulate stress responses, and build skills that support daily life.

Before opening Grounded Light Counseling, I worked as a middle school counselor, served as a crisis support volunteer in Asia, and spent over ten years in the U.S. Air Force. These experiences shaped how I show up in therapy: steady under pressure, present in difficult moments, and deeply respectful of each person’s story.

If you’re unsure where to start or haven’t yet found the right fit, we can take time to clarify what matters most and explore whether working together feels supportive and aligned.

About Lisa

Hi, I’m Lisa, the Practice Manager at Grounded Light Counseling and likely the first person you’ll connect with when you reach out.

If you’ve been putting off contacting a therapist, you’re not alone. That first step can feel intimidating, especially when you’re not sure what to expect or where to begin. My role is to make that initial connection feel more human, supportive, and straightforward.

I’m here to answer questions, help you explore whether we’re the right fit, and guide you through next steps at a pace that feels manageable. You don’t need the perfect words or a clear plan, just a place to start.

If reaching out feels heavy or uncertain, that’s okay. I’ll walk you through it.
